The pool looks lovely, I’m missing the sun and can just feel the heat of it looking at the pictures. Bit worried about your poor toes though

You did a pretty good job evaluating the pros and cons of staying in Samui House Hotel.. Cant wait to stay there

  5. Ann says:

Seems like a nice place to stay! is there anything you would recoment to do nearby? Any scuba diving site too?

    • Natasha says:

There are regular diving sites and schools nearby. Two beautiful beaches within 30 seconds walk and the famous Chaweng area with lots of food and shops is a few minutes away. You can rent a bike right outside too

  7. Kevin says:

It was indeed the hotel strategy to make the pool inviting once the guest will arrive.

This place looks kool and quite homely for a party place like Koh samui . Nice review 🙂

Nice write up! Great review of the place. I hope they accommodation at reasonable rates!

  10. Ahhh I adore Koh Samui and Chaweng beach! I know a lot of people avoid Chaweng because it can get a bit crazy, but I love the options that are so close by for food! Looks like a gorgeous place to stay!

    • Natasha says:

This place is awesome as its right at the bottom of Chaweng so you are far enough away to be in peace but close enough to join in with the fun if you want!

  11. It’s too bad that the jacuzzi had broken tiles. But it seems that you had a great time that it wasn’t such an issue. I will keep this in mind if I ever go to Koh Samui someday!

Nice and detailed review. i like the pool and Jacuzzi area. Beaches which are minute walk away from hotel adds attraction to live in this hotel.

Liked your honesty. Looks like a very relaxing place. Always my priority. Thanks

  14. Gemma says:

This place looks really nice, especially the pool! I stayed in a much more remote place on Koh Samui, so it’s cool that you were able to have the best of both worlds here.

    • Natasha says:

We did a remote place after this and it was awesome too. Where did you stay? We are going back and would love recommendations!

  15. I absolutely love your summary of this place! What was the beach like near you? Was the water good for surf or not really?

  16. Seems like a pretty quiet/relaxing place to stay while in Koh Samui. How much was it for one night there?

I don’t usually stay in hotels but it looks like a cool spot. Thanks for the genuine review 🙂

The pool looks awesome. It’s nice to find those types of hostels that are clean and aren’t a party place. Looks like a nice place to relax!

This was a well-written and very thorough review. Certainly, when considering the success of your holiday in Thailand, one of the most important considerations is the accommodation and honestly, I would be rather pleased that this wasn’t a party place. There is always going to be imperfections but you most certainly did the right thing by not letting it spoil your break and just getting on with it
