Hotel: Tweed View House Guest House & Bed and Breakfast
Date: May, 2014
Room: Double, Private bathroom
The Tweed View House Guest House & Bed and Breakfast was chosen for us by friends of ours whose wedding we were attending nearby. It was roughly £50 for the night and was by far the most reasonable price in the town at the time. The owners were welcoming and very reasonable with us and done more than they needed to to make us feel at home.

Tweed View House Guest House & Bed and Breakfast is located in the city of Berwick-upon-Tweed and is really easy to get to. The town has lots of tourist attractions so there is lots of parking around if you are willing to walk for a few minutes back to the hotel. It is also seconds away from the train station if you are travelling by train. The main street of the town is only minutes walking, I managed it in heels!
I slept very well here. The beds are comfortable, well maintained and very clean. There is not a lot of noise in the hotel either.
We met all different kinds of people here. It is mainly quieter couples who choose this location.
My favourite part
I loved the location because we were so close to everything. The weather was wonderful and we were able to walk about and get a great feel for Berwick and what it had to offer without shelling out lots on travel expenses. There are lots of shops and food options nearby.
My least favourite part
I was a bit frustrated that they did not have their own parking as we had a lot of things to carry. We did find parking a few minutes away, however, so it wasn’t a huge problem.
